Those in Politics keep pulling each other's legs. It is very common. I was in-charge of Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee. Mr Arjun Singh was the Chief Minister then. Relations were not cordial between Mr Madhav Rao Scindia and Mr Arjun Singh. They used to pull each other's leg quite often. One day, all the three were flying in a same flight to attend a programme in Madhya Pradesh. It was a small flight and Scindia was flying the plane. Suddenly he pointed at a huge bungalow below and said, "See how big Arjun Singh's house is". He was pulling Arjun Singh's leg. Many people come up in Politics by pulling each others legs.

I was in-charge of Rajasthan Congress Committee too. Rajesh Pilot was a popular leader there. He was in Air Force before entering Politics in 1980. He was junior to me. The relationship between him and Vasundhara Raje was strained. She left Congress to join BJP later. Her mother was already in BJP.

In every State, differences used to be there between the leaders and it was the duty of the AICC General Secretaries to take everyone along without hurting the feelings of any leader. Making political leaders bury their differences and work together is not an easy job.
